Does your child love to sing, perform, and be creative? Our new Lakeview Glee Club gives students the opportunity to explore music and performance in a fun, creative, and collaborative environment! Students will develop singing and vocal skills, explore acting and character development, participate in skits and comedy, and learn movement and choreography. Most importantly, Glee Club will help students build confidence, teamwork, and the skills they need to feel comfortable performing as part of a group. While singing is an important part of the program, Glee Club is about so much more than just singing! The club will take place on Mondays from 3:00-3:45pm with Ms. Jessica, Mr. Iosif, and Ms. Diana. Parents will need to go directly to the plaza for pick up 3:45 - please do not go to the main parking lot. Introduce your child to the exciting world of art through fun, creative, and hands-on activities! This club will give Junior students the opportunity to explore a variety of art materials, techniques, and creative ideas while encouraging self-expression, imagination, and confidence. Students will experiment with colour, texture, drawing, painting, and other artistic techniques while having fun bringing their own ideas to life. The club will take place on Fridays from 3:00–3:45 pm with Ms. Basma. At 3:45pm, all students will return to the elementary playground to be picked up through drive-through or remain for after-school care. 📅 8-week session (Oct 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24) 💰 Cost: $150 ($130 + $20 fee for art supplies) 👧 Ages: Junior Students ⏰ Time: 3:00–3:45 p.m. 📍 Location: Junior 2 Classroom 👥 Maximum: 10 students

In our Junior Sewing program, kids will learn the basics of hand sewing. They will practice different stitches and try their hand at embroidery. They will also have an introduction to the sewing machine. At the end, kids will take home the fun projects they make! The club will take place on Wednesdays from 3:00–3:45pm in the Plaza Art Room with Ms. Sam. At 3:45pm, all students will return to the elementary playground to be picked up through drive-through or remain for after-school care. 📅 8-week session (Oct 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25) 💰 Cost: $140 ($130 + $10 for supplies) 👧 Ages: Junior Students ⏰ Time: 3:00–3:45 p.m. 📍 Location: Plaza Art Room 👥 Maximum: 15 students

The Intermediate Sewing Club is for students who want to improve their sewing skills. They will build on their hand sewing techniques and learn more stitches, including some fun embroidery styles. Students will get more practice with the sewing machine and work on more complex projects. Everyone will take home their finished creations. The club will take place on Thursdays from 3:00–3:45pm with Ms. Sam. At 3:45pm, all students will return to the elementary playground to be picked up through drive-through or remain for after-school care. 📅 8-week session (Oct 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, 26) 💰 Cost: $140 ($130 + $10 for supplies) 👧 Ages: Intermediate Students ⏰ Time: 3:00–3:45 p.m. 📍 Location: Plaza Art Room 👥 Maximum: 15 students

Take your child’s coding skills to the next level! Building on the foundational skills introduced in the Casa Coding Club, this program will give Junior students the opportunity to explore coding by continuing to develop their problem-solving, sequencing, logical thinking, and creative-thinking skills while being introduced to new coding challenges and concepts. The club will take place in the Tech Room at The Plaza from 3:00–3:45pm with Ms. Nat. Our Intermediate Drawing Club will offer students opportunities to make amazing artwork using the principles of art to design and create their own drawings. We will learn perspective and shading to create cool 3-D effects. Students will learn the difference between 'looking' and 'seeing' space. Students can explore the various types of pencils available in the classroom. All students may join even if they have little experience drawing. Come and unlock your inner artist! The club will take place on Fridays from 3:00–3:45 pm with Ms. Cathy.
