Government & Community Financial Support Programs
CWELCC Program (Canada-Wide Early Learning Child Care System)
Lakeview Montessori School participates in the CWELCC program, helping reduce childcare costs for eligible families with children under the age of 6. This program supports affordability while maintaining the quality of early childhood education.
City of Windsor Fee Subsidy (Children’s Services)
Lakeview Montessori School works in partnership with the City of Windsor Children’s Services to offer fee subsidies for families who qualify. Families with children under 6 years of age can apply through the City of Windsor Family Services website.
Children ages 6–12 may also be eligible for support during:
- Before and after school care
- PD Days
- March Break
- Winter Break

Financial Assistance Through Employee Benefits
Workplace Child Care Subsidies
Some employers offer financial support to help cover childcare expenses for children up to age 6 as part of their employee benefits package.
Employees of organizations such as Chrysler, Ford and Casino Windsor may be eligible for a Daily Child Care Subsidy, depending on their current employment contract.
Families should contact their employer’s benefits administrator to confirm eligibility and obtain the required forms.
Bursaries at Lakeview Montessori School
Need-Based Financial Support
Bursaries at Lakeview Montessori School are awarded based on demonstrated financial need.
To apply, families must complete a Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) application through Apple Financial Services.

Lakeview Montessori School recognizes outstanding academic achievement through scholarships and entrance awards, honouring excellence in students entering our elementary program.
Academic Entry Scholarship
Each year, Lakeview Montessori School awards one Academic Entry Scholarship valued at $1,000 to a new elementary student from the Windsor-Essex or Chatham-Kent region.
The scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest academic average and is applied directly toward tuition.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Be entering a Lakeview Montessori School elementary program for the first time
- Be currently attending an Ontario elementary school (Grades 1–8)
- Have a minimum academic average of 85%
Scholarship Award Process
- The $1,000 award is applied to the student’s tuition account upon acceptance
- Awards cannot be used as a registration deposit
- The selected recipient will be notified by email following a personal interview with the Head of School
Additional Financial Support Opportunities
Referral Incentive Program
Lakeview Montessori School values community connections.
- Families who refer a new family that registers will receive a ballot entry
- Ballots are entered into a draw for a $200 reward card toward Lakeview programs
- Draws take place in November and March
Multiple Children (Sibling Discount Program)
Families with more than one child enrolled at Lakeview Montessori School may receive tuition discounts:
- 10% off the second child
- 15% off the third child
