Casual Child and Youth Worker (CYW)
Lakeview Montessori School is looking for a casual Child and Youth Worker. This individual should be dynamic, kind-hearted, and have a genuine love for children, with a strong desire to nurture and inspire students.
As part of the student support team, the CYW works collaboratively to assist in the delivery, development, and implementation of academic, social, physical, emotional, and behavioural programs for students with social, emotional, and/or behavioural exceptionalities. This role also supports the cooperative development and implementation of programs for students, families, and school personnel.
Applicants must have experience working with children 3 to 6 years of age. The successful candidate should be patient, enthusiastic, and able to work in a Montessori environment.
Qualifications:
- Completed three (3) year college diploma or undergraduate university degree in Child and Youth Work or equivalent education
- One (1) year of related experience
- Standard First Aid and Infant and Child CPR certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Lakeview Montessori School is seeking a passionate and organized Chef to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that support the health and wellbeing of children.
This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, childcare nutrition, and alignment with Montessori principles and Ontario childcare regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and preparing daily meals that meet CCEYA, Public Health, and Canada’s Food Guide requirements
- Accommodating allergies and dietary needs with attention to safety and cross-contamination
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets provincial and public health standards
- Ordering groceries, managing inventory, and tracking pricing and substitutions (onsite)
- Maintaining food safety, menu, and kitchen documentation
- Training and supporting kitchen assistants and back-up staff
- Assisting with special events and school functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Food Handler Certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
