Adam Hillock

Adam Hillock began his studies with the University of Windsor Odette School of Business where he met his wife. Together they began their careers in the GTA where they both held positions of increasing responsibility over a period of 11 years. Adam was appointed the Human Resources Manager for a Global Automotive Company in the GTA before transferring to Ohio and most recently the City of Detroit. As a Human Resources executive for the last 10 years,  he has developed strategies for Global HR and Manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include: negotiating contracts with Local, National and International Unions; leading cultural transformations; government affairs; change management aligning business objectives and employee development. Adam has been professionally trained in public relations, incident response and diversity and inclusion. 
 
Adam is the father of two sons at Lakeview and coaches both in Tecumseh Minor Baseball Association and Tecumseh Shoreline Minor Hockey Association. In addition to community involvement, it is a priority to Adam to role model academic engagement to his sons. As a board member, Adam brings over 25 yrs of best practices to ensure our students are prepared for global opportunities through a strong localized approach that is second to none.
